Today was the day to take some images in the mini studio, with different materials. From silver to ceramics, ending with glass.

Then follow the images.
A piece of silver jewelry | In this test it was necessary to invent a little, I still don't have a decent base for this type of objects, but here we go. The entire edition focused on the textures and tones of silver.
A play that turned out much better than expected. No colored background was used, the background is the reflective walls of the mini light box. The edition sought more dramatic tones.
Having these types of decorative objects means that at some point they will be the target of my lens. In these cases, ceramics are easier to photograph and edit. They are simple objects, just as editing should be. To invent is to spoil. As there is no reflective material, it is relatively easy to adjust the light.
Blind, deaf and mute. It would be a good name for this photo as these figures illustrate the saying. Here the challenge was different, metals with a shiny finish. This is where the light box diffuser comes in. In this case, the editing took more classic paths. It was good training to balance shadows, midtones and highlights
Finally the real challenge. Glass, and this one has everything that is good for taking photos, corners, different thicknesses and reflection points everywhere. Here again, the diffuser is essential. When it comes to editing, slight adjustments were made to the highlighted lights and I used a filter for colder light
It was an interesting result, being the first time I'm working with a mini studio, I'm still getting used to the more controlled conditions. Only the reflective background and the white background were used.
